I invested in this more expensive gun because of the different tips. I haven't decided yet if it's worth it. The advantages are that it heats up very quickly and there is a light to let you know when it has reached the right temperature. The variety of tips is nice. Cons: The piece of wire to set it up doesn't work, it's not very ergonomic and it's not comfortable to hold when using it. The bottom line is that it appears cheap but has expensive features. **Updated a month later to add that the rubber rings on each tip melt with use. Now glue constantly flows where the tip is in contact with the gun. I will not buy again.**
