I am returning this product. NOT USER FRIENDLY: After going through the instructions a few times to make sure I'm using the food thermometer properly and to be sure I have new batteries. I found it extremely difficult to turn on. According to the instructions, you need to move the tester 45 degrees to turn it on. It's extremely difficult to get it in the right position, and even if you do, it sometimes beeps but won't activate or turn on (see video). It would be much easier if the device just turned on when the probe is taken out of storage. Once you turn it on, the buttons aren't easy to read, and the voice transmission feature is difficult to understand and hear, especially while cooking. TURN OFF TOO FREQUENTLY. The unit also turns itself off if you put it on the counter after checking the temperature (see video), this is nowhere in the manual and given the difficulty of turning it back on this was even more frustrating. I made sure this happens all the time. I would not recommend this product.
