I've wrapped pipe tape around the threads of the gauges 5-7 times and they are leaking. When I tried to tighten the pressure gauge in the included fitting to stop the leak, the fitting snapped - I bought a new one at my local hardware store for $3. Then I wrapped the threads of the gauges with pipe tape about 12-15 times and screwed the gauges into the supplied fittings less tightly - there are no leaks. Use lots of tape! Each pressure gauge is filled with liquid, but not completely. They still work fine, but it doesn't look perfect. Another reviewer said they added glycerin. My local hardware store didn't have glycerin and I didn't know where to get it.
