Quality product - great fun with practice

OK, so it took me some time to get out and try this out - you want good weather and some leisure time - but it works great and is a lot of fun and good practice.I've added some photos of the product to this review, but I didn't get any of me actually using it, because walking a slackline is challenging enough for a middle-aged guy :-). The quality of the strapping, stitching and end protectors is very good. I don't see any signs of stress on them after having it very tight between some trees to support my weight (let's just say slightly over 200 lbs.). The length is also to spec, and easily reached between a few different trees on our property. (The length is a factor in how fast the slackline moves.)The ratchet mechanism worked perfectly to install it and get the necessary tension. The bag to store everything in is very handy. For now I've left everything in the shipping box with a handle, but eventually I may ditch the box and just put this in the bag and then I'll have more room for other items. What other items? Well, I worry a bit about damaging the bark on the trees, so I put a towel around the tree first. The towel can be cut and sewn into fairly narrow and long strips a couple of layers thick. If I ditch the cardboard box, I may be able to fit these into the storage bag too.Slacklining is probably better learned young, but I'm having a lot of fun trying it out and learning it.This kit passed all the testing I put it up to, and the revain price is pretty fair, so I'll give this full marks.

Pros
  • Good product everybody likes it
Cons
  • The slackline may not be adjustable, limiting its versatility for different skill levels
