I rarely leave 1 star reviews and hate to give them to the seller or manufacturer, but this one really deserves my review. I usually often find a feature or quality that deserves at least a 3 star rating and often lean towards a 4 star rating to help the seller. I know they work hard to get their products out there, so I do my best to work hard for them and find product attributes that support them in my reviews. Unfortunately, this webcam failed on every level and was extremely disappointing. It was inappropriate. The lens of this webcam is not 4K. The image is blurry and completely darkened when the light is turned on or light comes in through a window. I can't even see my face when the curtain is open because the brightness spoils the picture. Reducing the light only makes the picture so dark that nothing can be seen. The camera also zooms in so closely that I have to stand back far to see it. There are no instructions on how to set the zoom level, so I think the camera is exactly as it should be. Strange as my other two old webcams don't have this problem at all. In general, I did not like this webcam at all. It was unusable, no 4K, very poor picture quality, and lacked any controls or software to adjust settings. This one comes back tomorrow.
