I bought this chair 7 months ago and have been sitting in it 8-10 hours every day ever since. There was no wear or damage to the skin, everything was like new. Although I use a t-shirt as the back. The padding doesn't feel deflated or flattened, although it's a bit softer. Keep in mind that I only weigh 150 pounds so someone heavier could cause more wear and tear on the chair. The only complaint I can have is that the seat is only reclined 20 degrees, I would like at least 60 degrees. 13 months from date of purchase: a small leather stain on one of the seams on the seat has started to dry and tear, everything else is still like new. 24 months from date of purchase: The leather of the seat has deteriorated badly, a large part is breaking off completely exposing inner foam and many other seams and tears. I bought some leather patches to glue on. otherwise everything else works fine. 32 months since purchase: now the back is starting to peel off too, I gave up the seat completely and just sealed the whole area with tape and when I'm not wearing pants I'm sitting on a towel. other than the padding, nothing else was a problem.
