I bought this chair 7 months ago and have been sitting in it 8-10 hours every day ever since. There was no wear or damage to the skin, everything was like new. Although I use a t-shirt as the back. I got this so I can have a chair for people who can roll on the floor. It comes with the same cheap wheels as most office chairs.
