I won't get into the obvious, we all know this clock has dual alarms, a 1" green LED display, automatic time setting and the like. Like: 3 brightness levels of the LED display (I like the lowest, but on the lowest setting you may have a hard time seeing the time across the room during normal daylight hours). doesn't shine in my eyes or light up the room while I'm sleeping. When you set an alarm, you can advance or advance the time (if you miss the desired time by 10 minutes, you can go back 10 minutes instead of going forward a full 24-hour cycle). The radio is ok (much better than my old one) but not surround sound at all (I mean what do you expect from a 20€ radio whose main purpose is supposed to be an alarm clock!), reception still and it sounds much better than my old radio/alarm clock. an alarm (which also has 2 levels, low and high, but to be honest there isn't much of a difference!). Beeps are a series of 3-4 short short beeps a few seconds apart. After about 30 seconds, the interval between bursts decreases until a continuous beep is emitted with no interval between bursts. I've never let it get past my first beep sequence as I'm a light sleeper. I like a few seconds of silence after the first beeps so I can turn it off before my husband hears (he sleeps longer than I do). The beeps might not be enough if you're a heavy sleeper, but for me it's perfect. If you're not sleeping well and polite beeps aren't working, use the radio setting and turn it LOUD! The battery size is printed directly on the outside of the battery compartment. (This is CR 2032, by the way.) That's a thoughtful note. Dislikes: Umm. the battery was EMPTY. Yes, had to replace it immediately, but they're cheap at Walmart, 2 for only $4.50. I wish the alarm off button was a little bigger/easier to identify when fumbling around in the dark. There are many buttons on the top of this alarm clock that really could have been placed elsewhere because you only use them ONCE: the Daylight Saving Time button (if you live in one of the few places that does NOT have Daylight Saving Time).-Time and does not take into account daylight saving time). want to use this feature), a time zone button (press once and THIS button unless you're using it as a travel alarm?) and buttons for manually changing the time (and YES, you may need to set the time manually, but hopefully, only once ). Removing these buttons at the top could make room for a more convenient "off" button. Just my thoughts!
