Once you open the box and pick up the hand blender, the first thing you notice is that it's solid and difficult to get hold of. With variable speed and turbo mode, you have many options to work with. I used it to shred a very tough and tough squash and it did everything I asked it to do. This blender is powerful enough. I have yet to use a food processor or other attachments but they all seem well made and fairly solid. With the exception of the whisk and frother, they share a basic attachment that feels a little flimsy. It's also nice that the kit included a tumbler needed for small jobs, but it would have been even better to have a lid for that tumbler. Overall this is a great article. I think it would be great if it was just a hand blender, but the fact that they added all the extra features makes it very valuable. I think whoever buys it will be pleasantly surprised. They have improved since the old Braun models. I say come on
