EDIT 07/26/17: This is my updated review after getting a bad unit the first time around. Original review is below. The new unit arrived in good condition. Being upset with the first purchase, I purchased another brand popular unit that was about forty bucks, double the price of this unit. It worked fine right off the bat with ODB Fusion. Given that the Vgate unit is about half the price, and I wanted a second unit for my other car, I gave the Vgate a second try. The new unit connected right away with zero problems using OBD Fusion. However, the Vgate Accurate app is garbage. It does not connect to this device. Their app has a 2 star review rating at the Apple Store with most people saying it doesn't connect.At half the price of another popular brand unit, I'm happy with the Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth 4.0 for now. I reduced the rating by 1 star because their app and documentation is poor. But even paying 10 bucks for the ODB Fusion app I'm still saving ten dollars compared to other units. I've only had the new unit 1 day. I'll update my review if after time something changes. Using it on a BMW M235i. Attached is a screen shot of my iPhone using this unit with OBD Fusion.Original The cover was not glued on properly and pulled off when taking it out of the box. Colored lights came on for about a minute but it never paired. Then only red light stayed on. Tried in other cars and only red light comes up. Would not pair / connect to iPhone 6 using their "Accurate" app or with Fusion OBD app. It did briefly show up under my BT devices until it died and only the red light stayed on. Basically dried after a minuted or two before it ever connected.
