Bracket snapped in half during regular use. Very poorly made.
I purchased the U-BC00 8 Speed 86 lb thrust motor. The bracket holding the motor to the transom snapped in half while in regular use. This put my boat in a dangerous situation, and the motor nearly fell into the water. The bracket holding the motor is thin plastic, and it is hard to imagine this is not a common issue with this set up.
- Very good trolling motor
- bearings in motor out after 12 hours of use can not contact manufacturer at all do not buy
