I haven't used any other brands of acne patches so can't really tell how they differ from other brands but these work great for their purpose Hydrocolloid dressings. They are not intended to treat your acne, so they should not be treated as such. I have an obsessive skin picking problem so I use them to heal my acne AFTER I've picked it and there's an open wound on my face. FYI, please never pick your skin. Their purpose is to keep the wound moist so it heals faster. I usually apply a moisturizer and stick it on. I think they work well but wish there were more in each pack and smaller sizes; Contains 9 large, 5 medium and 10 small. I usually split the big ones in two because they're too big for my pimples.
