We have this to power four small (shelf size) restaurant speakers. We used to have a Lepai (a box of the same size and specs) but it started to fail after just a few months. I didn't have a short cable, the electronics inside really kicked things out and created gaps in the music. Anyway, I did some research for something this small and without the extra bells and whistles (we only need that power for the signal coming from an iPod playing Spotify). As long as a few months, it's great. Sounds good, gets loud enough (louder than we need, even with a noisy dinner). I wouldn't be sad if I had this at home. No connection problems or dropouts. My only improvement I'd like is a volume slider with some sort of label to indicate what it's set to. Our previous amp had a small notch to indicate how loud the music was when the play button was pressed. It's not like this. I found that I had to start with the volume too low and then slowly increase the volume to find its "normal" value. It's easy to start too loud without a visual reference.
