poorly mfg. in my review

Swing latch separated from the base after it was opened and closed only 2 or 3 times with virtually no stress on it. The black matte finish can easily scratch or chip, making the lock appear worn and unsightly over time!

Tin very thin: my feedback

These didn't fit my anderson shashes, but I wouldn't use them in the house. They are very thin like tin.Shed use would be more fitting.I returned them for a full refund.

just doesn't work correctly

it is strong, attractive, and the hole spacing matches the existing perfectly. unfortunately the fixed portion of the lock is too tight and the swivel portion of the sash lock misses the groove. the windows have to be perfectly aligned for the the lock to work correctly, and my 70 year old windows are bowed and unforgiving. also, the footprint is not exactly the same as the originals and I had to drill new holes closer to the edge of the window. my "fix" to make them work was to leave the…

Weak Metal in my review

I bought these more for esthetics than practical use, but noticed when locking windows in place "securely", the metal piece you press to leverage the window in place wanted to bend with moderate pressure. I bought multiple and this wasn't an isolated case. If you don't intend on unlocking/locking these regularly it shouldn't be an issue, but if you do be prepared for the bends.
