Simply super! It takes a bit (about 20 minutes) to attach the crystal strands to the shadow base, but it's not difficult. I suppose if you have dexterity issues this could be a problem. I would like to clarify one thing that was confusing in the description and in some reviews that I read before purchasing. People asked if these crystals were real or plastic. The answer is; The small (round) crystals on the filament are plastic, but the long lower crystals are definitely real crystal. Don't let the plastic crystals put you off buying this lamp as it's still high quality and you can't tell until you touch it. This lamp SHINES! Even the sun shining through this lamp creates a kaleidoscope of colors on our white walls. I've actually shopped at brick and mortar stores and other online stores, and I have to say that anything that even comes close in quality, style, and beauty costs well over $90. My sister came to visit and immediately commented on this lamp and asked me to send her the link because she liked it too! If you're on the fence, don't be shy.
