We had this ant farm for 48 hours and enjoyed how fast the ants work. It's exciting and lets the whole family watch as the tunnels are formed. But it says they didn't read it carefully so for lack of research they gave it 1 star. Did they really expect the ants to live in the box for years until they bought it? If you want to give this as a gift, please buy the sand (play sand) in advance. Also included is a coupon for the correct ant species (collection) so if you know your way around.
