When I ordered this I can honestly say I never thought of using a carabiner. What a huge difference! Let's face it, our phones are big these days. I have an iPhone 7 plus and it's too big for my pocket if you're trying to take or make frequent calls, which is what I do for work. The problem I had with the seat belt holsters was 1. They interfered with buckling the seat belts. 2. They push you sideways when you sit improperly in a small chair. 3. If you wear a starched/ironed shirt to work, it looks huge (because it is). 4. When you are sitting it is almost impossible to get anything out of your pockets because the cover is in the way. The carabiner makes a big difference at best. You sit comfortably in your truck, car, all seats. It looks a lot better in my opinion. And it's much easier to remove and attach. If you wear slacks or nice pants to work and then want to wear comfy blue jeans for an after-work stroll or something dirty for gardening, you'll really appreciate how much easier it is than unbuckling a belt and unbuckling it then to put on. on another tape, then all over again. I'm so glad I tried the carabiner just for fun. The case itself is really well made, with great stitching and a fabric interior to protect the screen. I love the look of my phones and don't want big bulky cases to ruin the look of my phone. This case is perfect for people who don't want screen protectors to slow down their touchscreen interface. I don't rate many items, but this case deserves 5 stars.
