What a wonderful pair of gadgets!
Designed to copy physical shapes. If you're installing tile or carpet, stick them in the gaps around the doorways, trace, and then use the line as a template. Small strips of plastic slide and repeat the most bizarre curves. (I admit I don't install rugs. I'm an artist and will be using two of the tools from this set to create and reproduce interesting shapes for my paintings.) This would make a magical Father's Day gift for a carpenter or DIY enthusiast.
