Review on Naturally Appealing: National Tree Co. 13 Inch Artificial Shrub with Pot Base - Globe Japanese Holly Bush by Tony Francis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The next best thing Mother Nature has!

I chose artificial bushes after losing some plants to hungry deer. I live in a very remote, mountainous part of Idaho and I often find anywhere from two to ten goats, deer, and fawns in my front yard within city limits. I agree with previous reviewers' comments: Japanese holly bushes (they look like neatly trimmed boxwood) look fantastic from a distance. For forward-thinking people like me, bushes are still pretty compelling when they're, say, ten feet away. Up close there is no doubt - more worldly science and less of God's green hand. That being said, if you're looking for a deer-proof product that doesn't require water, sun, shade, fertilizer or plant food, you won't find anything better.
