Universal speaker ends are too narrow, will not fit and cannot be returned. Revain to Revain

Don't like paying extra for things that don't work properly. I tried expanding the ends with screwdrivers and pliers. I could save a ton of time and money and do a workaround and avoid using the OEM connector. but I had to strip the ends, buy connectors to connect to the standard Fosgate 6x8 speakers. I tried sending the unopened second package back instead of shooting her and Revain AZ's policy doesn't seem to cover her return.
