I bought a drawing chair for my desk (Varidesk). The piston rises and falls smoothly, although the chair sags about an inch when I put weight on it while seated. The footrest does not stay in place. I'm tall enough to have it ok on the lower end of the range. But others have complained and I've found that it doesn't stay above the low end of its range for long no matter how far you turn the adjustment knob. Right. It's a little higher. The mesh fabric feels nice and offers plenty of ventilation, which is a nice feature of this type of material. Assembly is easy and hassle-free. The chair was well packaged and arrived undamaged. At $200 plus tax, it's worth it primarily because it's comfortable, and the tall, adjustable chair is functional for those of us who use it with a standing desk.
