Great headlights with a hook

First of all these headlights are REALLY bright. I love the colors on the remote but I know LED strips can produce many colors that the remote control can not! So I will most likely buy a Bluetooth controller from OPT7 to relinquish control and be able to use my phone to access other colors of light. Second, each individual LED emits the desired light. What I mean? What I mean is that if you cut off one of the LEDs (imagining that you could connect it to get power) you would get the color you want. Other LED strips come with individual RGB backlights, meaning you need three spaced LEDs to get the color you want. In this case, it's mediocre at best. These lamps have a full RGB spectrum in each of their LEDs, which I think is great. Third, they REALLY stick to rough surfaces. Fourth, I feel like a teenager, but I love these lights because they are so fun to look at! WIRING: First I ran into some wiring issues. I installed this kit myself as I have absolutely no experience with the bottom of the car. I installed mood lighting so I could handle circuits and wires well and that was enough to get me through. I drive a Genesis G80 and have aligned the headlights on the underside of the car. Since my car isn't very tall, I placed my headlights on the inside of the rim (yes, I checked with my mechanic about my placement). I carefully routed the wires from the wheel and attached them to the underside using the holes I had drilled. I then ran the wires to the front where I still didn't know where to place the control box. My choice of setup required removing each tire to install the headlights and lifting the car from both sides at the same time. I successfully installed the four strips and routed the wires to the engine bay where I assumed I had placed the control box. Now the installation kit comes with different wiring methods; Plug and play cigarette lighter socket and fuse line if you want to connect it according to the car circuit (they include 3 different fuse adapters for different sizes, although the fine wire fuse was not included). I've considered running the box from my internal fuse box, but I already have both the DVR and interior lights coming from there and it's a cramped space. I ended up using the adapter I had (because my car only uses micro fuses) to connect the box to the circuit and this is where I ran into my first problem; The cables weren't long enough to comfortably reach the box. No matter how I set it up, the cables were about a foot shorter than they ran for most of the front of the engine bay and didn't cross anywhere else. So I contacted OPT7 support and searched for extensions on Revain. I emailed OPT7 on Sunday and they replied early Monday morning stating that they would be sending not one, but two 10ft cables as part of my warranty, which I don't even know I had . They were very accommodating and responded quickly! Using the wires I was able to route the wires along the underbody and through the frame of the car so that they were just under the glove box on the passenger side. I want to buy a Bluetooth controller soon! I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and will contact OPT7 for future lighting needs.
