Disappointing - Towels

At first glance these are fantastic towels. However, after using it I am disappointed. When I receive new microfiber towels, I wash them in cold water, a free and transparent detergent with an extended rinse cycle, and then tumble dry them on low for 20 minutes. Finally, I laid them on the air fluff to dry. I do this to get rid of lint or anything else in the production process. I noticed before washing that they had what looked like old oil stains but I figured it was a manufacturer fault and it would wash out. It's not like this. OK, no problem, they were clean. Another thing that caught my eye is the tag on the rags. Yes, I took them off, but the scraps remained. Although it may seem silly, the label left behind can ruin painted surfaces. Finally, the absorbency of a towel of this weight was far from impressive. They seemed to be basically squeezing liquid. I've also tried them on paint and windows and found that these "lint free" wipes leave lint. All in all I wouldn't buy them again. I have some Chemical Guys products that I love, but they fell short on this one.
