I'm 5ft 4.5" and this skirt hits my ankles making it more of a maxi. Still, I love this skirt. It was a bit big on me so I machine washed on a gentle cold and tumble dried on a low setting. It came out exactly the same. The fabric has a slightly rough texture. I'm happy with it.
