The quality was good but the description seems really misleading. My 8-9 year old prefers skinny skinny jeans. I bought these because it was such a great price and I figured the "tailored fit" would be more form fitting than normal but less tight than skinny. He tried them on and swam in them. I buy many other brands (Children's Place/Crazy 8/Oshkosh B'gosh/Tommy Hilfiger) in skinny and/or skinny suits the same size so I know how they should fit. It was too big at the waist and bottom for my average. Size 8/9 years. He winced the whole time he tried them on and I know there's no way I could make them wearable for him. I may have received a defective pair, but they weren't flattering at all and I felt like they would fall off him even if I adjusted the elastic as snugly as I could.
