Review on Enhanced xtava Pro Satin Infrared Flat Iron featuring Tourmaline Ceramic Plates by Bella Rodriguez

Poor performance so I have to give it one star as returns are the worst case scenario for any product. And let me preface this review by saying that I have been straightening my hair for over 15 years so I am very familiar with straighteners and how they work. It's great that so many people have had such success with this product resulting in the rating being so high which is what prompted me to purchase. What is not good is that the average star rating is wrong in my experience and opinion. The #1 problem with this product is that it just doesn't straighten my hair fast or well. I had to do 3, 4, 5 passes per section and I've never had that many with any other iron I've had. Not to mention it takes me quite a long time to get ready and the last thing I need is something that takes longer. Problem #2 is that my hair is frizzier and not totally straight as I am used to and expect from other products I have used. Problem #3 - Terrible design. The button placement is terrible. I kept hitting her because you keep it right there to get your hair done. Downright annoying and disappointing. Problem #4 is the noose where this thing is is bloody as hell and how sharp it is when I first got it. Yes! This product could be tested before release to correct design and performance deficiencies. Then it will be a great product. I think they put more effort and expense into the damn fancy packaging. This box was really good! But I don't care about the box. I love a great product. Still needing an iron, I returned to my trusty Sally's Beauty Store. There I bought an Ion One Stroke. This thing is a gem and far, far superior to this straightener. There was more, yes. I paid 20-30 dollars more at the store but wow. 1 or 2 passes, my hair is straight and smooth. That's what I'm talking about!
