Works best in laptop accessories
I bought another brand adapter that was a few dollars less but my MacBook Pro crashed and eventually caused a kernel panic. I found this one, ordered it and had no problems at all. I plug it into my MBP and keep the lid closed while connected to my monitor. The adapter gets a little warm, but that doesn't cause any problems. The adapter is compact in size, convenient for you to travel with.
