Excellent spatula. Just the right amount of flexibility for eggs. Not too stiff, not too flexible. That's right. As for people having problems with melting: yes; The nylon melts. Then your pan is too hot for the non-stick coating. Nylon spatulas are designed for use with non-stick pans. Non-stick pans are not designed for high heat. When sautéing or cooking vegetables, use a stainless steel or cast iron cooktop and a stainless steel spatula. If you use this spatula and non-stick pan correctly, it won't melt. If you try to fry in a nonstick pan with a nylon spatula, you'll ruin the pan and melt the spatula. Spirit. Anyway, I had my first spatula for 3 years before one of the prongs broke. Still, given the price and excellent utility of this cookware, I'll give it 5 stars and am buying a new one today.
