The high quality clay I used with this little tool set immediately bonded and colored the acrylic sheet and roller. I have tried many ways to clean the platen and roller and now I only have a cloudy platen and roller. They still work when I coat them with cornstarch. The small size of the acrylic sheet is actually a good size for making kites by rolling the clay underneath. I have no idea what that flimsy little scraper is for. Mine came with a corner chipped off and the clay is stuck to it like crazy too.
