My other dogs have Seresto collars and they don't have a single tick. I wanted to try this in a new rescue as it was cheaper and had good reviews. Now the dog has more ticks than before the collar. Seriously, I found a few ticks before putting the collar on, 10 days after putting it on I found over a dozen ticks of all sizes, both dog and deer. In the same environment, two different collars will produce opposite results. We have found ticks in the house since the new dog came in with a prophylactic collar and my husband just got tested for Lyme disease. do not buy.
