Square head works great. I use them to update my deck boards. Over 900 screws installed, none broken or bent. Helps to pre-drill holes and install them as evenly as possible. If you need to nail a nail they will try to slide off your driver but keep the pressure going all the way. Highly recommended after struggling with my old Philips head screws.
