I just took the gasket out to wash and it was awful putting it back in. It's too big for the lid. I can get it back, but it needs some tweaking. I bought another set of this type of container from another seller and had to stretch the seal a bit to get it in. It has excess that is difficult to slide back into the lid. Update: Trying to fold them without the lid. dangerous with more than two. If you want to fold them, you need to close the lid. They should be kept very clean and dry with the lid on to prevent bacterial growth, or put on an unsealed lid. There are no problems qualitatively, except for the difficulty in putting the seal back on, but due to the empty storage problem, they are not for me. You could probably put a small bin in a larger compartment and solve the empty stacking problem, but I went with a bin with no divider.
