Review on Marine Grade Waterproof Red Heat Shrink Tubing - 82 Ft XHF 1/2 Inch (13Mm), 3:1 Ratio With Adhesive Lining For Insulation, Protection Against Moisture, Corrosion And Air Leakage For Wire And Cable by Bob Jensen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Durable/Robust material, good adhesion, perfect for my application.

Installation: Recommend Heat Gun (lol) , definitely.I had issues with my nunchucks, non anodized aluminum, which was rubbingoff on my hands, believe it or not I used a 35 year old hair dryer to get thisshrink' to shrink, I shrunk 1 1/4' shrink' down to 1' (nun handle dia), this tookabout 15 mins per handle, I trapped them with cardboard on 3 sides to localize the heat, otherwise it might have taken half a day.lolA decent heat gun would be much better.Note, I had four handles to take care of, I would recommend starting from the center, getting the wrap to start to grab the object , then start working outward in both directions, also, be patient even with a heat gun, it takes a bit of time. This product is probably more robust than most of us need, I'm impressedto say the least.
