Our young rescue pup inhaled his food, and he could not figure out the busy-buddy that our other dog used (and mastered). This bowl slows him down to a reasonable eating speed. Funny thing though, our other dog ( a four-legged genious) walks over to this new bowl filled with food that our new dog is trying to figure out, places his paw in the perfect spot with just enough leverage to flip it upside down and have a neat pile of kibble in front of him, then he nonchalantly eats a few bits and walks away. New dog just stares at it for a bit, blinks a few times, then inhales the pile as before. I have since made it so it will not tip. Highly recommended.
