Life saver! My dog basically inhaled food and was constantly puking all of it up intact. 30 seconds and food gone. Last time I timed her at it was just over 4 mins. I was worried she would be frustrated but nope. Hasn’t affected her. It’s plastic so maybe a chewer would attempt it but idk. I got the large which makes the food spread out more. Not sure how deep the Small is but my Pit has no issues getting tongue to get the food. About a foot wide. Pics show depth and scale.

I like that it has slowed my dogs free feed eating down and less fighting at the food dish. I have one dog that pushes her nose in the food dish and pushes the food out and dish all over the house. This has slowed her down however the grips on the bottom are too small to really hold the dish in place so I'd recommend bigger grippers on the bottom.

My small dog would eat so fast and was constantly choking. After purchasing this she has not choked once. She went from inhaling her food in 2 seconds to gradually eating it in 10 minutes. She is a happier dog and we are satisfied pet owners.

It's a bit too deep for my cats. They have to use their paws to dig the food out when it is down to about half full.It has helped with regurgitation.

We had to purchase this because our Goldendoodle would literally eat her food in 33.3 seconds flat. This keeps her honest while she is eating. Its a simple bowl with a simple design to make her work for her dinner. It does the job and I would purchase this again.

My puppy eats and drinks so fast like there is a fire under her tail! She gags and coughs because she eats too fast. . . in less than 30 seconds and you would never know there was ever food in her bowl! I bought this hoping to slow her down.to my surprise it does! Takes her about 15-20 mins to eat now. Love it!

My puppy would eat so fast she'd regurgitate. This dish was supposed to challenge her, so she'd eat slower. She quickly picked up the dish with her mouth and dumped it out. Made me laugh. She only did that once. It's worth a try to slow down a dog that eats too fast.

Our 60 pound dogs do really well with these-- it has slowed their eating down immensely. Would recommend! Thanks for attention.

Our schnauzer mix dog would eat so rapidly that it often ended with him vomiting up everything he had eaten. The veterinarian suggested a 'puzzle' bowl to make him eat more slowly. It was a success! I bought a second one to keep at our summer home. I highly recommend it for pets that eat too fast!

This is great! We got a German short haired pointer a few months ago and the Breeder just poured dog food in a big bowl that allThe puppies had to fight for. Our young rescue pup inhaled his food, and he could not figure out the busy-buddy that our other dog used (and mastered). This bowl slows him down to a reasonable eating speed. I bought this for my 3 months old puppy because he absolutely LOVES food and devours it within seconds. I didn't want him to develop any digestion problems or bloating, so I tried this out to stop him from eating so quickly. I don't know if my dog just isn't that smart, if his snout shape/size isn't compatible with the bowl, or whatever other reason, but this bowl just doesn't work as expected. Good quality bowl but now for cats. My cat is 12 lbs and it was way too big for him and he couldn’t get food out of it That's my review.

My cat absolutely loves to fish out treats and food from these. Sturdy and I can just put them in the dishwasher. That's my feedback.

This has been amazing in helping my cat stop inhaling his food and then throwing it back up. My cat's food lasts longer during the day because he has to eat slowly. The only thing I don't like is the design of the grippers on the bottom to keep the dish from sliding. They don't stay in place very well.

Good for a cup to cup and 1/2 of food. Improvement would be if the anti-slip was actually attached around the bottom versus four little removable feet. Bought this bowl and my puppy decided they didn’t like having to eat slow and took it out the doggie door (we have 9 acres) so we have to purchase another while we try to find the missing bowl. Lesson learned. don’t let them on the floor! 😃

Slows down their dry food consumption so they're more prone to eating the wet food but all 3 of them enjoy going after the dry kibble. Great!
