I bought this along with two packs of other manufacturers steel couplers (ASIN: B092T87C11). Replacing the old bracket/plug with the new one was very easy and everything (this kit, steel couplers, old Burley) is perfect for use with our disc brake bikes. FYI, you only need one steel hitch per bike, but with one on each bike you might want to fit a burley so you can take turns towing the kids. I'll be buying a few more hitches and putting them on bikes with a caliper (which can actually use the old mount) simply because this new mount system is so easy to control. Once you replace the old hitch with this new kit, which screws in through a long rod between the Burley and the bike and isn't really meant to be swapped back and forth, should you have a hitch on your bike you'll want the Burley attach. A tip: if you have a stroller kit/accessory, SAVE the old black part on the tube; The stroller wheel is attached to it. If you do this, the long screw that comes with the kit will be too short; Keep the screw from the original assembly and use it in place of the long screw that comes with this new kit.
