I have a 2009 Saturn VUE and needed a different key not only to open the door but also to start the engine. This key worked. I took it to Ace Hardware and they cut that key with the original one I had for less than $3. (Some hardware stores don't cut blank transponder keys as they'll want to sell you one of them for at least $80. Find another one if that's their policy. Locksmiths and dealers more.) From there I just have the instructions on the sheet provided is used to program a key that matches other information on the internet. The car started perfectly with the new key.
