Installation: Aside from cutting through the aluminum backing, which is actually easier than it sounds, installation is fairly straightforward. I didn't make any stencils, just simply cut out parts of the shape to cover the entire area I wanted to cover. I was happy with the overall result. It probably took me about an hour for each door on my Corvette. Usage: I have a standard Bose stereo in my Corvette with subwoofers in the doors. I immediately heard a difference in bass response and a big difference in vibration. Like most GM vehicles, the Corvette had a lot of vibration when listening to stereo at high volumes. It seems to make a big difference in terms of vibration. All in all at a low overall cost and a few hours of my time a really fun project on my Vette as it usually hibernates in the winter this product seems to be a good hit. for a dollar!
