I earlier bought the smaller red crystal, the 2.3 size and was more than happy with how beautiful it was. I then bought this red crystal, the larger, 3.1 size and I am very dissatisfied with it. The smaller crystal was a very bright red, as shown in the pictures, with lots of sparkle that really shows it off. However, the larger crystal is a very, very dark red, not at all attractive. What is worse is that because of the very dark color, it has almost no sparkle at all. The crystal is a good quality, heavy and substantial, but I was expecting a larger version of the very sparkly small crystal, and that was not what I got.
