Absolutely beautiful! So happy with this purchase. My husband uses the pocket size Field Notes and this is the perfect case for keeping everything together. It’s replaced his usual wallet. The leather is great looking, the stitching is well done, and there’s plenty of room for credit/ID cards without being bulky. Inexpensive and high quality - very happy.

Product came nicely packaged. The leather was soft with nice stitching that felt well made. I got the cover with 2 card slots with out the pen loop but It’s got thick leather so you can still hook a pen clip over the spine of it no problem. The cover is able to hold a Field note journal or a hardcover pocket size moleskin notebook 3.5x5.5 easy (both fit for me.) However I stuck with the field note because as the leather breaks in it will overtime shape its self to the hardcover moleskin…

I use this little book every day. I’m a Police Officer and this is the perfect size to fit in a pocket. The replaceable field books are great and the leather cover protects them from damage. The leather is thick and well stitched. It will only get better with age I’m sure. I would love to have others in different sizes. Fantastic cover for the price. Worth every penny.

Not the layout I ordered.however, nice materials, nice build quality, nice look. Very soft supple leather. Maybe even top grain, I wouldn't bet on it but if its genuine leather it's the top of the line lol.

A friend of mine already had this note cover, and I decided that I wanted one of my own. Nicely crafted leather and handsome stitching. Two credit card sized pockets on the left side (I use them to hold business cards), with a larger pocket behind them. Of course, I've only had it a few days, but I'm quite satisfied so far.

I've been using this daily for over a year with a Moleskine Hard Cover Plain Paper Journal and it works great. It lays uniform and flat perfectly for me. Love this leather cover for my Field Notes notebooks which I’ve paired with a Space Pen. The design of the cover is just perfect for me. It holds my calender, cash papers and cards just fine. The workmanship is good no loose thread or glue. My only drawback is the finish of the leather itself, there is 2 spots that came rough, and I personally went for functionality, it would be 5 stars if the finish was smooth across the whole piece, if this would be lost I probably would buy again and hope for a better finish. This is a beautiful product. It was packaged securely and even came with a lovely bookmark. I purchased this for my Field Notes and I highly recommend it. Fits nicely in my purse- great leather and stitching- has room for credit cards too. Excellent product for the money.

The cover is made of thick real leather and strong stitching. It is definitely a durable notebook cover that should last for years in tough conditions.The only draw back, to me, is the leather hasn't weathered or softened up with use. The exterior does not have the worn in look like in the pictures. It is tough but not supple or smooth.

I use this for covering a pocket notepad called Field Notes. It fits in there perfectly. Should I choose, I could place some credit cards or ID cards into the left-most side slots made for them, but I just use it for the Field Notes. This makes for a great protective cover which allows me to have a notepad on hand at all times, to jot down that important thought or point in that moment of need. Nicely priced. I can see this lasting for years.

Just came today. I really wanted a wallet that held a small field notebook. And this works. Leather is nice quality, and it seems very well made. I wish the leather were a bit thinner. And I have another leather cover that where they did something to round the edges that gave it a more refined look.but I'm happy with this. And the price is more than fair. No pen loop, but I can fit a slim pen inside anyway. But a pen like a Pilot Metropolitan, which I'd hoped to use did not fit inside.

We bought the first one for our daughter, everyone was so impressed and loved the idea so much we bought 3 more for the other kids. Very solid, nice looking, and perfect for traveling.

Too big to fit in the back pocket of your jeans. Very high quality leather. Card slots work fine for ID, credit cards, etc. Field Notes Journal fits fine. No pen holder.Not sure if this is a good wallet (because it's slightly bigger than a post-card in size), but it makes a very nice cover for a notebook.

I'm very happy with the item. The cover is constructed well and I'm glad I bought this one over the other design with the pen loop inside. It does bleed dye as you can see in the pictures. It's not an issue with me as I carry it in the back pocket of jeans or darker work pants. The bleed onto the notebook sure seems like it would be an issue on lighter colored clothing though.
