Review on Handmade Vintage Brown Leather Cover For 3.5" X 5.5" Notebooks - Perfect For Field Notes And Moleskine Cahier - Enhanced Search Engine Optimization by Richard Mangum

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality for my opinion

I have been using memo books for a long time, and have always had the serial issue of leaving them in places that weren't immediately accessible, like the passenger seat of my car, in my coat pocket, or in the backpack that I take to work with me. I started keeping my field notes in my breast pocket, but at work they would end up getting soaked in sweat.I had my wallet stolen, decided to kill two birds with one stone, and started looking for a wallet that would hold a standard memo book. I purchased this one, and my friend purchased one in the $90 range. His has a much waxier leather as well as an internal loop for a pen, this has a more natural finish, and no such loop. I hit mine with a little bit of doc marten's wonder balsam to soften and condition it. I clip a uniball vision 5 over the edge right behind the card holder. Initially I was worried about wearing in the raw edge of the leather, but it stands up to the metal just fine.Overall, solid quality. I would buy this again with no hesitation.
