It just doesn't work. Sounds great as described but the beads stay green no matter how long they are connected. I wish I could return it because I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it out in the green pearl safe. Didn't make a difference.

I bought this for my bearded dragon terrarium and it didn't work. I don't know if mine broke or what but it sat there for several days and it never lowered the humidity so I bought a different brand. Another reduced the humidity from 41% to 34% in 2 hours!

Although it works well I thought at first that it does nothing, make sure it is well charged, the beads are orange, something I could not do, if I want, and delete it before all the orange beads, will do nothing, almost gave the product a star, I give it to myself because I did something wrong, in a 2x2x4 tent with plants, the humidity was between 40- 50 out of 70+

Ordered two. One works great, the other hardly heats up. I used my Kill-a-Watt to measure power consumption. The working one draws about 60 watts, the broken one draws about 10 watts. Unfortunately, I did not find that any of these failed by the return deadline. I recommend that you plug them in immediately upon receipt and make sure they are hot to the touch.

It's easy to use. I put one in the shed and the other in the car. It saves me from having to plug anything into the outlet and handles moisture very well. For my car, I put it on the dashboard to avoid moisture buildup that can freeze and it helps! As for the shed, it takes care of most of the moisture and I just plug it in after a week or so and replace it with the one in my car. I definitely recommend it.

The desiccant arrived with dark almost black crystals. I charged it in the lowest humidity room for four days and the crystals changed color to brownish instead of bright orange as shown on the product packaging. It took less than a week for the crystals to darken again, a far cry from the 20-30 day shelf life advertised in the product description. I bought another renewable dehumidifier (different brand) and it works great.

So it works and I like the small aspect of it. However, the technical and scientific development of this product does not make sense. I bought this for my reptile room to increase the humidity from 70% to 50%. The Pro Breeze (stupid name, btw) removed that extra moisture from the air, but plugging it back in to charge "releases the moisture from the beads." Excellent dehydrator. My large champion safe (60" x 36" x 26" OD) has had 3 of these for months now and the gauge on the dehydrator tells me they absorb moisture. They can be refreshed by attaching them to a 120 Plug in -V outlet and leave it there for about 24 hours, after which the indicator will turn orange again (indicating that it has been updated.) After several loading attempts it finally seemed to work and the pellets inside became lighter again. It still takes a while to charge and it still gets hotter than we'd like, but it might work.
