I've been using this daily for over a year with a Moleskine Hard Cover Plain Paper Journal and it works great. It lays uniform and flat perfectly for me. The interior left side pockets are perfect to hold some extra cash, some blank 3x5 note cards, some business cards, and credit cards. It wears extremely well, and I can hardly tell its had a year's worth of use already. I carry it by hand or in my briefcase, as the thickness with the hardcover Moleskine doesn't lend to pocket travel. However, It goes with me everywhere, to every meeting, every time, and is nicely understated and elegant simultaneously. I like the feel of the soft, buttery smooth crazy horse leather the best, and the leather aroma is very light but refreshing. I am glad I took a chance on this handy little cover. No regrets here.
