As a new coffee connoisseur, I really enjoy the idea of making coffee in a Chemex pot with these paper filters. I particularly like that they appear to be more natural, biodegradable options for coffee production and really filter out any bitterness in the coffee, resulting in a superior cup of coffee. I use pre-ground, store-bought coffee (please rate, I'm new to this) but this Chemex filter and pot combo makes the cheap taste smooth and delicious. I love the slow and conscious practice of taking my time (I mean 5 minutes total) each morning to brew and filter coffee. Maybe I'll tire of it over time, but right now I feel like an early hominid lighting morning fires for his clan - it's like a creation and I get it.
