This battery case is the BEST I HAVE SEEN with 2 available lightning connector ports.1 connector port is part of battery charging system. This port is used to charge the battery case.and will tremendously contribute to the LONG LIFE of original connector port of iPhoneX. The iPhoneX connector will have a lower (insertion and removal usage rates) and therefore last longer.1 original iPhoneX connector port is open and unrestricted by battery case.Critical usage for my iPhoneX connector port is for CARPLAY in my XT5. If the iPhoneX connector and lightning cord do not fit well (due to constant usage), CARPLAY will be intermittent or not work at all.The sellers of this case "did their homework" and I will buy this case again!
