This is a big and personal camera. not meant to go out into nature and try to zoom in and see the craters on the moon! This is for the media person who wants to edit and produce video and sound quickly! I just had my first son and I record EVERYTHING HE DOES! in HD format. So, I've gotten some great information here on this site that has given me an accurate idea of what kind of camera I'm going with. So I am grateful for these reviews. You can connect the camera directly to the wall for charging, you don't need another battery or charger. didn't know that. Also, when recording long performances, it will stop and start splitting files into smaller parts. So it's better to take a friend with you and ask them to toggle a button on top of the camera on and off between each song. It's easier to edit anyway. I think that's all.
