Review on Maximize Protection with Square D SDSA1175 Panel Mounted πŸ’‘ Single Phase Type 1 Surge Protective Device from Schneider Electric by James Lesley

Some installation information to help others seems like a good product.

A mini split air conditioner is installed that controls both the compressor and the sensitive electronics that control the unit on the same line. This type of surge protector was recommended to me and I decided to buy a few. In general, the specifications are good and the price is very affordable for this type of device. Maybe that's overkill in my area because where I live (Las Vegas) the energy is very clean. If you want to know how it works, I found the details in a specific white paper. Other people also asked for accommodation. The docs here are a bit vague. This type of device must be connected closer to the protected device. For me it's the air conditioning. So I plugged it in AFTER the big fuse on the wall of my house. In the same electrical box, but on the "Equipment" side of the large switch. (Works great on 220v or 120v) Adding pictures after installation is super easy. but from the "equipment side" of the big switch.
