Fits nicely under the seat in front of me. My dog felt comfortable in it throughout the flight. I didn't buy the one with wheels because that would make the carrier too big to meet AA standards for mounting under the seat in front of me. However, I wish there was a way to attach the wheels once at the airport and then detach them again to allow the carrier to be at the approved height. I could then put the bikes in my purse before arriving at the destination airport and reattach the bikes at the airport so I don't have to carry my pet in a carrier bag on my shoulder. Eliminating the need for wheels that can be removed before boarding an airplane would be a great service to anyone purchasing this roof rack. Height with wheels becomes an issue when boarding an airplane. Many Thanks.
