They're excellent, but few colors are bright enough for my night runs (I run on a bike path to avoid sprinklers and animals. The sidewalk is directly across from a wooded area and I've been surprised by more than one skunk, but I was lucky I didn't get sprayed!). I use green and orange. When you sweat, the moisture makes the light even dimmer. The three modes are good too (on, fast blink, slow blink). It should also be good for kids on Halloween! In general I am satisfied with the purchase.
