When you need a lamp with multiple light levels and a variety of settings, this table lamp has it all. including great price. I've only had it for about a week, but so far it's working well for my workbench. I love the design and the functionality that allows me to direct the light exactly where I need it. And directed at the ceiling, it provides a pleasant room light. That being said, there are a few things to keep in mind. 1) The body of the light can get quite hot (the top of the LED) when using the brightest level, so you might not want to keep it at max for too long. 2) You cannot use the light switch. If you have a light and turn the switch off and on again, the light needs to be touched again. 3) Fold it carefully. The top may hit the stand if you release it when it is almost fully folded. 4) It may tip over if you extend the lantern too far to the side of the base. No problem in forward gear. Don't let these things take you away from the light! I continue to be very happy with the lamp and I think you will be too.
